Positive Ageing Month
Age NI is delighted to be celebrating Positive Ageing Month, a month-long campaign of events, activities, and programmes that takes place every October.
It’s a wonderful celebration promoting positive ageing as well as recognising the part older people play within our local communities. This month aims to highlight the importance of creating a more age-friendly society, focusing on social connection, active living, and improving the wellbeing of older adults.
Age NI believes every older person should be included and valued, and we're working across Northern Ireland to make that happen. Through campaigning, local support, advice and friendship, we’re changing the way we age. Your support makes our work possible. By donating, campaigning and volunteering, you’ll help change older people’s lives – now and in the future.
Get involved today:
Find the right volunteer role for you, whether that's making a weekly friendship call to a lonely older person or supporting your local day centre or charity shop.
Donate to help us be there for older people when they need us most.
Follow us on social media and sign up to our monthly newsletter to stay up to date with our events, programmes, and campaigns.
