Lidl Northern Ireland

We are thrilled and proud to partner with Lidl Northern Ireland since November 2024. Lidl have pledged to raise £500,000 over three years to support older people across Northern Ireland.

Through our partnership, Lidl aims to address and raise awareness of the challenges faced by older people, whilst delivering a range of community-based initiatives and fundraising to help make a tangible difference in the local community.

We were delighted to see the Age Friendly Trolley Dash introduced to make the dash more inclusive and accessible for older participants.

The partnership is helping to raise awareness of our services for older people and the challenges older people face. Extensive coverage from the Making Age Visible campaign during Positive Ageing Month helped to shine a spotlight on loneliness and isolation, a key challenge facing older people. It was incredible to have Hollywood actor Ian McElhinney come onboard to help amplify the message about positive ageing.
