Grab your friends, colleagues or family and experience the world’s fastest growing water sport, Dragonboating.

Join us on Friday 20th September at Cutters Wharf, Belfast and make a difference to vulnerable older people across Northern Ireland.

A dragonboat is a long narrow boat which holds up to 20 people. Paddlers sit in pairs and face towards the bow of the boat, with 1 drummer and 1 steerer or helm at the rear of the boat.

Each team will compete in a minimum of 3 races to set the fastest time in each round. The teams with the fastest times will enter the grand finale and compete for victory.

Why fundraise for Age NI?

Our society is aging. More than 350,000 older people live in Northern Ireland, and there are more people over the age of 50 than under the age of 19.

As the leading charity for older people in Northern Ireland, we work tirelessly to give older people a voice, support those who need our help and inspire everyone to love later life.

By fundraising for Age NI you’ll be helping us to continue supporting vulnerable older people in Northern Ireland.
